Conscious Chemist Vitamin C Serum – A Letdown?
I had high hopes for the Conscious Chemist Vitamin C Serum, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Here’s why:
- No Visible Results – After using it for a while, I didn’t notice any improvement in brightness or skin tone.
- Oxidized Too Quickly ⏳ – Within a month of opening, the serum’s color changed, and the smell became unpleasant, indicating oxidation.
- Stability Issues – Vitamin C is known to be unstable, but this one degraded much faster than expected, making it ineffective in the long run.
Given these issues, I wouldn’t repurchase this serum, as it lost potency too quickly to be of any real benefit.
Conscious Chemist TurboIM Cream – A Worthy Night Moisturizer?
Unlike the Vitamin C Serum, the Conscious Chemist TurboIM Cream performed better in my routine.
What I Like:
- Multiple Brightening Actives 🌟 – Contains ingredients that help with hyperpigmentation and dullness.
- Suitable for Sensitive, Oily, and Acne-Prone Skin – Lightweight yet moisturizing, it doesn’t cause breakouts or irritation.
- Visible but Gradual Results – Used 3-4 nights per week (pea-sized amount), I have seen a slight improvement in pigmentation over time.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for a gentle brightening night cream that works gradually, TurboIM Cream is worth a try. However, the Vitamin C Serum falls short due to its rapid oxidation and lack of effectiveness.
Would I repurchase? TurboIM Cream – Maybe. Vitamin C Serum – No.
